I absolutely love this series. And this book was such an emotionally charged read. Melissa totally awed me. She doesn't let her handicap of being hearing impaired stop her from being a wonderful human being. She doesn't use it to get her way. She is such a truly caring person who just wants to help others. Then their is Delcan. I at times wanted to slap the hell out of him for being so dense when it comes to relationships and love, which he doesn't believe in until of course he starts falling in love with Melissa. Then there were the times that he let his vulnerability show and I just wanted to eat him up. And I also want to give a nod to the entire O'Brien clan. They had me in stitches when they were all together. Curran especially. The man has no filter. The topics in the story could not have been easy to write. and there were a few more then just the hearing impaired one. I don't want to give the others away so that everyone can read about them themselves and feel them as they appear. But to say it was an up and down roller coaster of emotions is an understatement. It seriously had my stomach in knots and tears leaking from my eyes.
I really hope that there is more in this series. Because I am not ready to see the O'Briens bid farewll quite yet. I'm feeling maybe Seamus needs his HEA

Feel Me An O'Brien Family Novel The O'Brien Family Book 4 eBook Cecy Robson Reviews
FEEL ME is a delightful and refreshing story. It is the fourth book in the O’Brien family series and is a standalone, although the characters are interconnected. This is the first book I have read by Cecy Robson and now I want to read the other three books in this series.
Declan O’Brien, an assistant district attorney and Melissa Fenski are thrown together when they both work in the sexual assault unit. Declan is used to women throwing themselves at him but Melissa doesn't show any interest and disagrees with him all the time. Melissa is strong and opinionated and Declan finds himself attracted to her brains and her fiery passion.
Melissa is partially deaf and has a difficult time dealing with people's careless attitude about her impairment. Even though it hasn't been easy for her, Melissa has worked hard towards her goals and is well respected and successful in her field. She is grounded, committed and driven and loves her job helping abused women and children. She works tirelessly for the victims of abuse, although it can be a heartbreaking thankless job.
Even though Declan is successful and confident, he has a sweet side underneath his good looks and cocky attitude and he sincerely wants to help others. Declan is a womanizer and doesn't believe in love and his sole focus is on his career. He doesn't have room in his life for Melissa but yet he can't seem to resist her. Declan doesn't care about Melissa's disability and his compassion and caring stole my heart. They are both stubborn and opinionated and argue a lot but there is also a lot of chemistry between them.
What I enjoyed the most about this story is the large, close knit, boisterous O’Brien family. They keep Declan grounded. Most people agree with everything Declan says but his family is not afraid to express their opinions and don't care about hurting Declan’s feeling feeling. They are also the first ones to defend Declan and he knows they will always have his back.
Thanks to the author for providing a copy of this book vIa Cocktails and Books and Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.
Another great addition to the series
This is one that book in the series I had to read. I’ve read three. If I compare it to other authors I’ve read, I’d give it 4.5 stars. Every story I’ve read by this author has been good and worth the time I spent reading it. Wren’s story was exceptional. This one is Better than Good!
Another fantastic contemporary Romance from Cecy Robson. I'm a huge fan of this series and I was not disappointed with Declan's story.
The O'Brien clan is big and rowdy but Declan has always been the serious one. He lives for his career with no time or desire for a real until he starts working closely with Melissa Fenske.
This is the best O'Brien family novel yet, they just keep getting better if that's possible! I couldn't put it down. Reading it, I found myself being able to identify with some of the thoughts and feelings of the characters, as well as some references to clinical practice. Cecy truly makes you fall in love with her characters. Now I can't wait till the next one!
Such a great series. Absolutely loved the first book, and adored Wren and Evan book 2 as well. This author is quite good at writing opposites attract. This book the 2 had a lot in common professionally at least once you get to the heart of it. I liked that she wrote a hearing impaired h who is nobody's victim as well.
I honestly thought Cullen stole some scenes. Along with the rest of the brothers and Wren. They were hysterical.
Declan was the prodigal son. The successful one. The smart one and he never thought he'd fall. This is more an unexpected love story, because he really took the brunt of the family as far as studies go after his dad died. It was interesting watching him come to grips with that. I liked Melissa just fine, although I thought she wavered a bit too much at times.
I feel like Ma Obrien at this point. I'm ready for lots of grandbabies, lol. Give Cullen someone to throw a football with, poor guy is gonna need help......lol. Book 1 and 3 are still my favorites but I liked this one just fine. Plus, I get the added bonus of seeing my favorite characters again, this author is quite good about writing about the family without taking away from the main romance.
Great series, great family, looking forward to the next one.
