I fear I will not do this trilogy it's due justice, but I will try. S.J. West breathes new life into the dystopian genre by adventuring into a fresh mix of science fiction. Her characters are complex, yet believable. Any one of these people could be your best friend, lover, father, etc. Lastly, her writing style is natural and cohesive. I found everything about this trilogy enjoyable.

Being an avid reader, I am no stranger to the influx of what has been coined as "fan fiction", and sadly, there is a lot of trash out there. However, once starting delving into this macabre world of twisted humanity, chaos, and insanity, I was instantly transported to this broken world, and could not stop reading. Her idea of using scientific progress, which is rapid and unpredictable in this age, is bloody brilliant. There is current talk of nano-chips that may be able to increase human evolution. She takes this idea, lets it marinate in a war torn world full of uncertainty and fear, spices it up with passion, torture, crushing failure, and soaring joy to produce an epic journey that has left me a little heartbroken by the finality, haunted by the imagery, yet with this harrowing sense of completing a wonderful literary adventure.

What a fantastic series as well as the Watcher series! I truly enjoyed the thrilling, suspense of this Apocalyptic Trilogy of the Harvesters verses the human kind to survive and avoid being kidnapped by Queen Lacena. I loved Jace, Skye, Ash, Zoe, Kale, Kirk, Teegan, Simon and Rosey of course.
I really enjoyed all the books to this series and really enjoy all the stories from SJ West... Well written and look for reading more books from the writer. On the 3rd book, the ending could have been a bit more detailed and it felt a bit rush to end the series and love story.
The conclusion of the Harvester of Light Series is dramatic to say the least and the stories’ many twists and turns leaves the reader breathless at times. An excellent read!
This trilogy was hard for me to put down once I started it. S J West does weave a wonderful story and this post apocalyptic tale has everything, suspense, friendship, a love story, horror, not to mention the human fight for survival in a world run by a mad woman. I seriously enjoyed this trilogy and really everything else that S J West has written, I'm a huge fan.
I really liked it a lot. I enjoyed the storyline and characters. My one complaint would be that the ending left some things up in the air. SPOILER. It almost feels like there should have been a follow-up book or an epilogue to expand on what happens now that queen is dead. Do the Harvesters become good or do they insist on the cure Michael promised them? I just feel that for a trilogy things were still left hanging.
Loved this book, totally pulls you into it and it's easy to relate to the characters in the story. I highly enjoyed reading it.
Excellent ending ) it could be the final end, but it also has openings for more. I really hope that there is more. There is so much that can be done with the rest of this. I love the plot, and can totally see something like this happening. I am pleased with the ending and finding out what happens with all of the characters in both the present and the future. Piper can definitely have a big story line with the rest of the characters....just a thought )
