I have been waiting impatiently for this book to be delivered to my Kindle. Let me tell you, this book was worth the wait! It has a super-fun premise: Cherry, a former bachelorette reality show contestant, tries to fade into the obscurity of her nonfamous life in Providence, Rhode Island, until she reluctantly agrees to participate in a charity auction to save her beloved community center. Jason, the adorably hot contractor who bids on her for a date, has an agenda of his own: he desperately needs the contract to renovate the community center Cherry is so passionate about. Despite their conflict with each other, these two are a Providential match, and when the sparks fly, they fly big, culminating in a very satisfying conclusion. I only wish this weren't a debut so I could buy more Gail Chianese books. This is a very promising new author and I will be anxiously waiting for the next book in the series.

I enjoyed Bachelorette for Sale. The story was fun, fast paced and brought me into the world of the characters. The writing is silky smooth and I'm planning to order book 2 to keep this series going. If you are looking for a good read, from a new author, check out Gail Chainese.
Wonderful debut with a fun and creative writing style. You will be left with a smile on your face. The characters were fun and interesting, and the hero makes his own wine. I liked the view into the reality TV world, too.
I really enjoyed this book. Jason and Cherry make a great couple. The secondary characters add a lot to the story. Cherry's grandparents are hilarious! I only wish there had been a bit more background/explaining regarding Jason's past experiences. I look forward to more by this author.
I loved this book! It incorporated a little bit of the bachelor/bachelorette tv show (which is my guilty pleasure) and romance novels, so what's not to love?! The characters were developed well and made me want to get to know them more! The second I finished it and bought the next book in the series, Boyfriend For Hire. I highly recommend this book!

Cherry’s reality show past, haunted her as she moved back to her hometown and volunteered to fund raise for remodeling the storm-damaged local community center. The local landmark held a special place in her heart because when she was young the counselors and activities helped her get through the loss of her parents.

Arm-twisted into being a last minute stand-in for a celebrity fund raising auction, Cherry breathed a sigh of relief that she received any bid at all, let alone a good, high bid.

Her date-winner, Jason, was set up by his best friend David, both for personal and professional reasons. The result was a fabulous first date.

Sparks fly and complications arose as both tried to keep from being hurt again, but finding love.

The twists and turns kept me reading late at night. Good stuff!
I've had this book on pre-order since November and I was thrilled when it finally appeared on my this week. Needless to say, I've been waiting a long time. It was totally worth the wait.I loved the romance between Cherry (fallen TV reality star) and Jason (smoking hot contractor). The secondary characters were also well-realized and three dimensional as well. The author kept me on pins and needles and there were a few times I wondered how on earth they'd find their happily ever after. Most of all I loved the humor, especially Cherry and her witticisms. This was a fun read and I love forward to the next in the series (which, naturally, can't come soon enough for me!
This debut novel, the first in a series, hits one right out of the ballpark in a gripping, well-wrought story. Cherry Ryan is all about heart family, friends, the community center that saved her when she was young and confused. When we meet her, she is doing her utmost to save the community center and to get past a disastrous betrayal on a reality show. Romantic love has not worked out for her in the past, so she is more than guarded when Jason Valentine enters her life. In this charming, well-written story, the reader comes to know Cherry and Jason and to root for their happily ever after through daunting challenges and difficult choices. Having read this story, I now feel like I know these people, the place that they love and a part of the country that I now want to tour for myself. I loved spending time with these characters -- and cannot wait for the next story.
